Before artist Mike Kelley committed suicide, he worked with the Contemporary Art Museum to create a mobile replica of his childhood Detroit home. This mobile homestead travels around the city hosting performances, exhibitions, and today a quilt workshop.

Thanks to the Detroit Institute of the Arts' Inside Out program, reproductions of masterpieces from their collection can be found all over the city.
