Still stuck in Da Nang
With squid jerky to boot
Whady'all say?

Extra spicy for you?
Some are flavored with seaweed
And soft shell crab, too

And custard-filled cake things
And small chocolate bombs
"Theres no shortage of flavors!"
He said with aplomb

Some were old stand-bys
Like Oreo and Ritz
But more were quite foreign
Like the tangy fish bits

So as time drifted on
Amusement proved dear
Thus ditties on food
Over one more local beer

Yes their flight was delayed
But this too shall pass
And Vietnam Airlines
Can kiss my white ass
