Lost in Transition

It usually doesn't take the better part of a week for me to write something, but two things happened this time. First, I started vacation in typical fashion, trying to wrap up a project and using the time difference to my advantage. It's a nice trick if you can make it work, and being 12/13 hours ahead of NYC is ideal. The second is that neither Shanghai nor Japan--so far--has presented the opportunity to whip out my rapier wit in the same way that Indian sidewalks or Thai prostitutes on Soi Cowboy do. It's all so neat and organized and cute.

Fortunately, Karen's been keeping up with the content development, but here are a few things to fill in the gaps. More specific posts coming soon.
