1,000 buddhas

Then, Rengeoin Sanjusangen- do. Thanks Lisa Solomon for the tip to come here! Sadly no photos, so I can't share the amazingness of the 1,000 sculptures in this building, but the grounds were lovely!

isn't it CRAZY? i loved walking past all them. you do know that sugimoto was allowed to photo them ????
